this pink i really like..

i do not like recipe making that much. i prefer eating or to be more exact devouring! ok, and taking some pictures. but in this case i will make an exception. i will write about a fine pomegranate mousse. so let’s go.

pomegranate moussepomegranate mousse 

you will need the following:

  • 150 ml of water
  • half an orange zest
  • 7 tablespoons of sugar
  • 4 gelatine leaves
  • 150ml pomegranate juice
  • 200ml whipping cream
  • 2 egg whites
  • some salt

first you put the water, the orange zest and 5 tablespoons of sugar in a small pot and you let them boil. when this happens, you remove them from the fire, add the leaves of gelatine and stir. i hope you know that gelatine leaves need to be infused for a few and drained before use. then you add the pomegranate juice, you strain this whole thing and leave it at the fridge for about 1 hour. make the most out of your free time and then grab a whisk. whip the whipping cream until soft peaks form. take out the liquid from the fridge and stir, add the whipped cream and stir again. now stop. beat 2 egg whites with a pinch of salt. add 2 tablespoons of sugar and start beating again for a few. finally pour this meringue to the other mixture, stir and divide it into small cups. place them at the fridge for 2-3 hours. i would suggest you cover them with a cling film. before you serve your masterpieces remember to decorate them with some pomegranate and after tasting them remember me for sharing this fine recipe!
